Order Protection Terms and Conditions
1. Service Overview
Order Protection is an optional service that provides expedited replacement for orders that are damaged during delivery or reported as missing or stolen during delivery, by our external couriers.
2. Cost and Application
- The service fee is €2.50 per order
- This is a per-order service and must be selected at checkout
- The fee is non-refundable once the order has been dispatched
3. Coverage
This service covers:
- Breakage during transit
- Missing or stolen deliveries
- Lost packages during transit
4. Exclusions
This service does not cover:
- Orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer
- Damage occurring after successful delivery
- More than one replacement per order
- Orders refused at delivery
- Orders where delivery was attempted but failed due to customer unavailability
5. Claims Process
To receive a replacement under Order Protection:
- If the issue is found and reported by our external courier, a replacement delivery will be organised immediately and the customer will be informed
- If the issue is found by the customer, contact our customer service team with your order number and basic details of the issue. A replacement delivery will then be organised.
6. Replacement Service
When a claim is made:
- A replacement order will be dispatched within 24 business hours
- We will use expedited shipping for the replacement
- Limited to one replacement per order
7. Additional Terms
- This service is entirely optional
- Original order shipping charges are not refundable
- We reserve the right to investigate patterns of claims
- This service is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights
- We reserve the right to refuse future Order Protection purchases in cases of proven abuse
8. Statutory Rights
Your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish law are not affected by this service. This includes your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
9. Modification
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions with appropriate notice. Any changes will not affect already purchased Order Protection services.
