Grown in the Valdeorras region in Galicia, it is a rich and voluptuous glass of wine. Godello gives intense citrus flavours backed up with a creamy mouthfeel and hints of spiced pear. Golden in colour and golden in taste with flavours of butter and pineapple. The length in this wine goes on and on, and on... A stunning wine for anyone who loves Chablis or Chardonnay. This is one of the best Godello's and Spanish whites you will ever try. In fact, the only better examples, are the more expensive ones made by the producer, Rafael Palacios. It would rival any Chablis 1er Cru and its half the price! Rafael Palacios comes from a wine dynasty, however in 2004 he left the family business and started working with old vines in the Valdeorras region. He is the king of Spanish white wines.
