Wine at a Glance

Did you know that Sancerre is always 100% Sauvignon Blanc?

Sancerre is France's and the world's most famous Sauvignon Blanc, and rightly so, it is classic, stylish and delicious. This premium Sauvignon Lovers wine box is ideal for those who love all things Sauvignon Blanc and Sancerre.

Pouilly Fume is the neighbouring wine region to Sancerre and often referred to as its little sister, as it is also produced from 100% Sauvignon Blanc.

Our Premium Sauvignon Lovers Box contains 2 of each of the following:

2 x Framingham, Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand
Gold medal winner at the National Off Licence Awards 2024
This isn't any ordinary Sauvignon Blanc. It is produced as a Sauvignon for wine lovers with a focus on the quality of the texture, mouthfeel and ability to pair well with food. It has New Zealand's trademark vibrant citrus fruit profile, layered with a masterclass in depth and elegance.

2 x Domaine Roger Champault, Sancerre Les Pierris, Loire
A subtle nose openss up to lush flavours of white orchard fruits with a soft creamy texture and refreshing acidity. Fermented in thermoregulated stainless steel vats and finished on its lees results in a Sancerre rich and refined Sancerre. Sancerre is located on the left bank of the Loire valley renowned for its fresh crisp whites. In order to call your white wine Sancerre, the regulation stipulate that the grapes must be exclusively Sauvignon Blanc.

2 x Pouilly Fume, Domaine Corty 'Intro', Loire
Sancerre and Pouilly Fume are neighbours and produce similar wines, with Pouilly Fume often coming in at a better price point and offering excellent value. Vinified with natural yeasts in stainless steel and aged on the fine lees until bottling, the 2020 Intro opens pure and subtle on the nose that is nonetheless intense and even quite complex for an introductory wine and reminiscent of crushed (flint) stones and gravels as well as fresh white and green fruits. Perfectly round and elegant on the palate, this is an intense, immediately attractive, medium to full-bodied Pouilly with a good mineral finish and fruity charm.
