Champagne A. Lamblot, Intuition Nature 2016

Intuition Nature is produced from the 2016 harvest, so it is technically a vintage Champagne but they don’t declare it. Made from a blend of the unusual Pinot Meunier, which makes up the bulk of the blend at 66% and the rest is 22% Pinot Noir and 12% Chardonnay. The blend changes every year. Nature on a Champagne label means no added sugar, so this is bone dry.
Its a fabulously floral style of wine with flavours of pink apples, peaches and cherries. Its a Stunner. Only 5,450 bottles made.
Lamblot are part of the oldest families of winegrowers in Champagne. Their ancestor, Drouïn Lamblot, was born in 1638. He cultivated the vine as soon as his age allowed and almost all of the other generations have remained in the village of Janvry.
