WOW! This wine really did stop us in our tracks, so much so that we ordered a box as soon as we tasted it! It tastes twice the price is has more similarites with a fancy Brunello than it does with a Chianti, so to have it at under €20 is a steal. The flavours are of dried rosemary and thyme, sweet and sour cherries and a dash of balsamic vinegar. This wine is crying out for some chargrilled steak or roast lamb. DIVINE.
