Le Difese is produced by Tenuta San Guido, who are famed for their flagship wine, Sassicaia. Like Sassicaia. Located on the Western Coast of Tuscany in Bolgheri and grown on gravel soils similar to the soil of Bordeaux, Le Difese consists of predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, like the flagship Sassicaia and is considered a ‘baby Sassicaia’.
