White: Roisin Curley, St Romain 2019
St Romain is an appellation in Burgundy renowned for its white wines produced from the Chardonnay grape. This has all the attributes of the classic white Burgundy with brioche, roasted almonds and citrus. Its an exceptional wine and produced in such small quantities, it makes it a collectors item.
Red: Roisin Curley, Beaune 1er Cru Les Blanches Fleurs 2019
According to Roisin Curley “2018 was one of the hottest vintages since 2003″, so the fruit flavours were extremely ripe and juicy. This 2019 vintage is much more nuanced and complex with zippy acidity and gorgeous fruit definition. This bottle is a perfect expression of a Beaune Pinot Noir.
