This lightly sparkling, joy-filled Brachetto d’Acqui, that can best be described as 'great craic'. Bursting with bright aromas of fresh roses, ripe raspberries, and wild strawberries, it’s fragrant, playful, and effortlessly drinkable. The palate is softly sweet yet lively, with a fine, persistent mousse and a delicate bittersweet finish that keeps it beautifully balanced. If ever there was a perfect brunch wine, this is it—fresh, fun, and made for pairing with a bacon sandwich.
Produced by the Marenco family, specialists in Moscato and Brachetto, the Contero estate in Strevi, Piemonte is one of the region’s finest. The 30-year-old vines thrive in tufaceous-marl soils, planted in a natural amphitheatre at 250-300 metres above sea level. The 2023 vintage was warm and dry, requiring careful vineyard management to maintain freshness and balance. Hand-harvested and gently pressed, the wine is fermented at low temperatures to preserve its exquisite floral and red berry aromatics, then bottled under pressure for a fine, delicate sparkle. Whether you’re celebrating, brunching, or just in need of a little joy in your glass, this Brachetto is so much fun!
