Product Information
This wine feels like silk. A classic Minervois blend with 50% Carignan being the main grape and the balance being a blend of Grenache and Syrah. An intensely flavoured and aromatoc wine that is rich with ripe dark berry fruit, fine grain tannins and a long finish. The Château d'Oupia in Minervois is one of Minervois's best kept secrets and is one of the best in the area. The owner of the Chateau had always sold his grapes to a local negociant but when a famous winemaker from Burgundy trued his juice, they insisted that he bottle under his own name. We are glad he did! This wine is a real find and will be delicious with or without food.
