Product Information
A mature and serious Beaujolais from one of the best Cru, Morgon. Although this is the Gamay grape, you would easily mistake it for a Burgundian Pinot Noir. Made entirely without oak, the nose has intense perfume notes of red berries. Medium bodied, no oak and gorgeously intense, this delivers SO MUCH MORE than a Burgundy red at this price point. Expressive and charming in youth. This is a moreish and thirst-quenching wine, ideal for the summer months. PURE CLASS. Louis and Claude are 8th generation winemakers and with vines that are over 100 years old, grown on a mix of granite and decomposed schist. These are thoroughly age-worthy wines, which also happen to taste amazing now. This is certified organic with minuscule levels of sulphur added.
