Alexis works biodynamically and his wines are made in a vibrant, non-oaky style with that classic grapey Maconnais purity. Oh wow! If you are into fizz, this one is a must. A creamy, rich and extremely delicious glass of fizz, you would be forgiven for thinking that its a Champagne. Flavours of smoked pears, refreshing lemons and a creamy mouthfeel, and hints of sweet fennel make this irresistible. It is quite unusual to find a sparkling wine from Portugal and it needs to be tasted to be believed. Made in the traditional Champagne method with white grapes indigenous to Portugal, it is called a Blanc de Blancs.
