La Stoppa, "Trebbiolo", Emilia-Romagna, Vino Rosso IGT, Italy
Product Information
A wine for wine lovers, this is something really delicious coming from one of Italy's lesser known wine regions. A blend of two red grapes from Northern Italy, Barbera and Bonarda, and made with no added sulphur, this delicious fruit bomb is tart, juicy and fruity. Layers of sweet, ripe and sour cherries with hints of spice and herbs make this a stunning food wine that will pair well with pork, duck or even a cheese-board. Elena Pantaleoni owns this wonderful 58-ha organically-tended estate (30 planted to vines) where wild herbs grow freely between the rows and no chemical fertilizers, weed killers or pesticides are ever applied.
