As featured on IrelandAM . Close your eyes and imagine yourself on holidays in Portugal, dining al fresco with a cold glass of crisp Vinho Verde. This is the wine to transport you there. Vinho Verde is Portugal's largest wine producing region in the Northern tip of Portugal, bordering with Spain, there are a few grapes grown here and the wine is typically a blend. This particular one is a blend of Alvarinho (known as Albarino in Spain) and Trajadura (known as Treixadura in just over the border in Spain). This is the new vintage, 2020, and it is light, floral and crisp with the trademark spritz found in the Vinho Verde. This gets a yes please from me.
