One of the nicest Chiantis I have tried in years. It is a classic expression of the Sangiovese grape grown in the northernmost part of Chianti region, with perfumes of vibrant cherries and blackberries, hints of spice and a silky mouthfeel. Gorgeously juicy and moreish. The Rufina zone, nestled as a precious jewel within Chianti, encompasses a only 600 hectares of vineyards. It is the smallest area within Chianti. The Selvapiani family's legacy spans generations. This results in a collection of Chianti wines acclaimed for their opulent flavors, harmonious acidity, and graceful character.
