  • Perfect for: Easter gatherings, spring celebrations, or simply embracing the new season!

The star of the show? Albert des Contis Pet-Nat – a stunning organic sparkling wine that outshines Proseccos twice its price with its rich, creamy mousse and elegant fizz. Made with a low-intervention approach from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, this naturally sparkling wine bursts with zesty citrus and orchard fruit notes, perfectly balanced by zippy acidity.

Your spring collection continues with Alpha Zeta 'Terrapieno' Pinot Grigio, a single-vineyard beauty that's leagues above ordinary Pinot Grigio with its silky elegance and subtle complexity, and Les Rafelieres Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley, offering gorgeous ripe apple flavors and juicy acidity.

For cooler spring evenings, explore the complex Vesevo Aglianico from Campania's volcanic soils, the full-bodied Abadia de Acon Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero, and Georgia's rich Bedoba Saperavi with its dark fruits and mocha notes.

Spring into the new season with wines that celebrate renewal and freshness!

Bedoba, Saperavi 2022
This is so so good! If you have never tried a Georgian red wine, producer Bedoba has set the bar very high. This is a rich and full bodied red bursting with dark fruits, herbs, mocha, caramel and chocolatey tones. A wine that would be perfect on a cold evening in front of the fire, or in the summer with a BBQ. Definitely a wine for wine lovers. Made from indigenous Georgian grape 'Saperavi' in Georgia's most renowned wine region Kakheti, this wine is definitely for the curious wine drinker. Partially fermented in ancient traditional clay pots called Quervi and stainless steel tanks, the winemakers Nugzar Ksovreli and Thierry Fontannaz combine tradition with innovation to create super interesting, delicious wines.

Vesevo, 'Aglianico' Campania
1
Vesevo, 'Aglianico' Campania
This complex and beautifully structured Aglianico perfectly captures Campania’s volcanic terroir. Deep ruby-red with violet hints, it opens with ripe black fruit, wild herbs, and a touch of smoky spice. The palate is full-bodied yet smooth, with layers of dark cherry, cassis, and warm baking spice, all wrapped in velvety tannins. A hint of vanilla from eight months in oak adds depth, while the finish is long, dry, and effortlessly balanced. If you love intense, yet refined Southern Italian reds, this one deserves a spot in your glass. Situated in the Irpinian hills of Campania, Vesevo crafts wines that capture the soul of this ancient winemaking region. Their vineyards, set at 450–700m altitude, benefit from cool breezes off the Bay of Naples, allowing for slow ripening and concentrated flavours. The volcanic soils—rich in phosphorus and potassium from Mount Vesuvius—add a signature minerality and depth to their wines. Under the guidance of winemaker Antonio Melone, Vesevo continues to prove why Aglianico is one of Italy’s greatest red grapes, delivering a wine that is both powerful and elegantly refined.

Abadia de Acon, Acon Joven, Ribera del Duero 2023
1
Abadia de Acon, Acon Joven, Ribera del Duero 2023
A full bodied, rich and unctuous red wine from Ribero del Duero. Unoaked, with flavours of fresh blackberries, blueberries and plums. Made exclusively from Tempranillo, you would be forgiven for expecting it to taste similar to a Rioja, however Ribero is a much hotter place resulting in a much more robust style of wine. If you like Malbec, this one will be right up your street. The climate along the Duero is extreme, with hot dry summers and harsh winters. The hot summer days and cool evenings result in intense and full bodied reds with a firm structure and refreshing acidity.

Les Rafelieres Sauvignon Blanc, Loire 2022

Les Rafelieres Sauvignon Blanc, Loire 2023
A new one for us, this Sauvignon Blanc is gorgeously ripe and juicy with flavours of Granny Smith and Golden Delicious apples backed up by irresistible juicy acidity. Enjoy this with or without food, its so versatile that it is one of the wines that can be enjoyed with a huge range of food. My personal favourite with this is to enjoy it with a roast chicken. Produced in Loire, which is the home town of Sauvignon Blanc, our house wine is easy to see why it is so popular.

Alpha Zeta ‘Terrapieno’ Pinot Grigio, Italy

Alpha Zeta ‘Terrapieno’ Pinot Grigio, Italy
This single-vineyard Pinot Grigio is in a league of its own—bright, textured, and packed with gorgeous fruit. Aromas of ripe pear, citrus zest, and warm bread crust leap from the glass, giving way to a palate that’s all about silky elegance and subtle complexity. There’s a gorgeous weight to this wine, with hints of dried herbs and a touch of saline minerality adding depth. A zesty acidity keeps it fresh and vibrant, leading to a long, dry, beautifully refined finish. If you love New Zealand Pinot Gris, this Italian beauty will be right up your street. Crafted by Matt Thomson in partnership with local growers, this Pinot Grigio is sourced from a single, high-quality vineyard in Veneto, where the combination of cool nights and mineral-rich soils gives the fruit its intensity. Hand-harvested and gently pressed at low temperatures, the winemaking process preserves the wine’s pure aromatics and silky texture without the need for harsh fining. The result? A beautifully expressive Pinot Grigio that’s bursting with flavour, finesse, and an unmistakable sense of place. A must-try for fans of seriously good Italian whites.

Albert des Contis Pet-Nat, France

Albert des Contis Pet-Nat, France
What I love most about this stunning pét-nat is the rich, creamy mousse—it’s miles ahead of every other pét-nat and Prosecco at this price point. Expect zesty citrus, crisp green apples, and ripe pears, all lifted by a fine, elegant fizz that brings incredible texture and balance. There’s a touch of natural sweetness, but it’s beautifully countered by zippy acidity, making it dangerously easy to drink. Domaine Albert de Conti is a family-run organic estate in Saint-Julien d’Eymet, Bergerac, where Guillaume and Paulin de Conti have breathed new life into their grandfather’s vineyards. Farming 30 hectares organically, they work with biodynamic and agroforestry principles to enhance soil health and vine balance. This pét-nat, made from 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Sémillon, is crafted with a low-intervention approach, completing fermentation in bottle to create a naturally sparkling wine that’s bursting with energy and freshness.
