iMuri Negroamaro, Puglia, Italy
This Negroamaro is a full bodied glass of brambly black fruit with intense flavours of blackberries and blackcurrants. The velvety texture, lovely balance and savoury spice notes are very hard to resist. This is an excellent example of why Southern Italian reds are so popular; It offers serious value for money and over-delivers at the price point!
Famille Gras 'Les Plans' Vauclause IGP, Rhone
Wow, if you like Chateauneuf du Pape this is right up your alley! With the added benefit that its without the price tag of those fancy Rhone reds. This Cotes du Rhone blends Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon to produce its magic and punches well above its weight in flavour and quality on the palette.
Herdade do Peso, 'Trinca Bolotas' Alentejo Tinto

Warm, round, soft and seductive, this is a very easy drinking style of Montepulciano. Wild strawberries and raspberries are layered with hints of vanilla and chocolate to make a wine that delivers instant gratification. A new one for us to add to the website and its a great value for money red from Southern Italy.
