The star of the show? Lobuco Malbec from Argentina's Uco Valley – Malbec in its purest form with no oak influence, allowing the vibrant blackberry and cherry flavours to shine through. With silky tannins, bright acidity, and a succulent, mouthwatering finish, it's dangerously easy to drink and perfect for spring sipping.
Your journey continues with Bodegas Albizu's crowd-pleasing Tempranillo, brimming with fresh red fruit flavours that can be served slightly chilled on warmer days, and Abadia de Acon's full-bodied Ribera del Duero with its unctuous texture and fresh berry profile.
Rounding out the collection are the more complex offerings: Georgia's rich Bedoba Saperavi with its dark fruits and mocha notes, Portugal's bombshell Trinca Bolotas with its unique Alicante Bouschet blend, and Vesevo's beautifully structured Aglianico showcasing the volcanic terroir of Campania.

Bedoba, Saperavi 2022
This is so so good! If you have never tried a Georgian red wine, producer Bedoba has set the bar very high. This is a rich and full bodied red bursting with dark fruits, herbs, mocha, caramel and chocolatey tones. A wine that would be perfect on a cold evening in front of the fire, or in the summer with a BBQ. Definitely a wine for wine lovers. Made from indigenous Georgian grape 'Saperavi' in Georgia's most renowned wine region Kakheti, this wine is definitely for the curious wine drinker. Partially fermented in ancient traditional clay pots called Quervi and stainless steel tanks, the winemakers Nugzar Ksovreli and Thierry Fontannaz combine tradition with innovation to create super interesting, delicious wines.
Herdade do Peso, 'Trinca Bolotas' Alentejo Tinto 2022
Portuguese wines are some of the best value reds on the market and this field blend from Alentejo is now exception. Dark fruit like blackberries and blackcurrants are layered with spice and a gorgeous texture. This is a bombshell wine, a real cracker! One of the main grapes in the blend here is Alicante Bouschet, a very unique grape in the wine world as the pulp is dark in colour. It adds depth and perfume to this outstanding wine.
'Trinca Bolotas' meaning acorn muncher is a nod to the acorn munching Iberian pigs that are native to the area. Alentejo produces superb red wines made from the regions native grape varieties, Alicante Bouschet, Aragonez and Touriga Nacional.
This complex and beautifully structured Aglianico perfectly captures Campania’s volcanic terroir. Deep ruby-red with violet hints, it opens with ripe black fruit, wild herbs, and a touch of smoky spice. The palate is full-bodied yet smooth, with layers of dark cherry, cassis, and warm baking spice, all wrapped in velvety tannins. A hint of vanilla from eight months in oak adds depth, while the finish is long, dry, and effortlessly balanced. If you love intense, yet refined Southern Italian reds, this one deserves a spot in your glass.
Situated in the Irpinian hills of Campania, Vesevo crafts wines that capture the soul of this ancient winemaking region. Their vineyards, set at 450–700m altitude, benefit from cool breezes off the Bay of Naples, allowing for slow ripening and concentrated flavours. The volcanic soils—rich in phosphorus and potassium from Mount Vesuvius—add a signature minerality and depth to their wines. Under the guidance of winemaker Antonio Melone, Vesevo continues to prove why Aglianico is one of Italy’s greatest red grapes, delivering a wine that is both powerful and elegantly refined.
A serious crowd-pleaser style of Tempranillo that is brimming with fresh ripe red fruit flavours with hints of blackberries. There is no oak here making it very both easy drinking and the . Serve with or without food, or even straight out of the fridge on the warmer weather.
Produced by Viña Albergada, a highly respected Rioja producer, the wine comes from vineyards planted within the Rioja Alavesa appellation. The soils are a mix of limestones and clay which brings a natural acidity and balance to the wine. This example, made by a Rioja producer, from grapes grown within the region, doesn’t actually have the name Rioja on the label, as it is made slightly outside of the rules, but it certainly tastes like it.
A full bodied, rich and unctuous red wine from Ribero del Duero. Unoaked, with flavours of fresh blackberries, blueberries and plums.
Made exclusively from Tempranillo, you would be forgiven for expecting it to taste similar to a Rioja, however Ribero is a much hotter place resulting in a much more robust style of wine. If you like Malbec, this one will be right up your street.
The climate along the Duero is extreme, with hot dry summers and harsh winters. The hot summer days and cool evenings result in intense and full bodied reds with a firm structure and refreshing acidity.
This is Malbec in its purest form—vibrant, juicy, and utterly delicious. Bursting with ripe blackberries, plump cherries, and fresh raspberries, it’s a wine that sings with fruit. With no oak influence, the focus is all on pure, expressive freshness, with a bright, lifted acidity that keeps it lively and dangerously easy to drink. The tannins are silky and playful, giving just enough structure to balance out the succulent, mouthwatering finish. A fun, fruit-forward Malbec that’s all about immediacy and pure drinking pleasure.

They also have a wonderful selection of wine gifts, perfect for any occasion. Highly recommend their business if you're a wine lover! 🍷👏
Was searching for a specific bottle/vintage which i knew wasn't going to be cheap anywhere i looked. I was really pleasantly surprised to find it here in Ireland and at the lowest price (by 15%+) compared to other sites in UK and EU. Have since used Nude Wines for further purchases, again at competitive prices. Good selection and orders made avaliable/delivered promptly and accurately.
Have been ordering from The Nude Wine Co. For a few years now and have never been disappointed. Regularly attend wine tasting events, always learn something new and get to try different wines that otherwise I would not. Their Wine Fair events are truly a treat. At one last week in Neighbourhood Naas. Some tasty nibbles to go with a multitude of wines, ports, bubbles on the night. Fantastic social night as always. I find Michelle and Tony super helpful with suggestions and always a delight to deal with.
A horrible wet day and dropped in to collect some wine, proprietors extremely friendly, jovial and knowledgeable. Had already pre purchased some wine but ended up doubling my order, this was not due to pushy sales staff but mainly down to Michelle's love of wines. A very pleasant experience overall.
I buy from Nude Wines frequently and absolutely love the selection of natural wines that they stock, which are sourced by small wineries and are absolutely delicious. The staff are so kind, helpful and friendly. Recently I bought a 6 bottle box of Malbec and the lady kindly wrapped some bottles of a gift. I strongly recommend if you like good-quality wine and want to support small business.
We bought the box of Autumn Velvet Reds after enjoying the Summer Velvet Reds. The wines are all lovely and it's great to try new wines knowing that we'll enjoy them as we're taken out of our comfort zone usuals
Amazing wines, I get the 6 bottles each month and each one has been amazingly delicious in it's own way. You can experience Michelle's knowledge in each taste as she has specially selected each wine. Michelle is a pleasure to deal with & I will remain a customer for years to come.
We received our order within a week. The service was top class. We're working our way gradually through the lovely wine selection. Each one is a delight and that little bit different to what's widely available. We will be placing more orders for sure!! I'd highly recommend the Nude Wine Company
I bought a monthly subscription package as Christmas gift and would highly recommend if you are looking for something a little different. The recipient looks forward to her delivery every month, which always arrives on time. She loves the accompanying tasting notes & description and it's a great talking point when we do meet up - it's truly the gift that keeps on giving!! Thanks Michelle & team.

I just wanted to write and say how much my wife and I enjoyed the wine tasting event held in Lawlors of Naas. Michelle was a brilliant host and her enthusiasm and passion for the subject was clearly evident. We had a really great time! - very informative, relaxed and enjoyable We both came away with a better understanding of what to look for in a wine. It was our first time attending a tasting, but will not be the last. Thanks
