Founded in 1989 by winemaker Martin Shaw and Master of Wine Michael Hill Smith, Shaw + Smith brings the unique character of the Adelaide Hills to life. Thanks to its altitude, this region enjoys a cooler climate than the nearby Barossa and Eden Valleys.
Shaw + Smith M3 Chardonnay is a stellar white wine from the Adelaide Hills in South Australia. Made from hand-picked Chardonnay grapes, it beautifully reflects the area's cool climate.
A pale golden color, elegant and complex, with flavors of stone fruit, citrus, and minerality, balanced by a creamy texture and crisp acidity. It finishes long and refreshing a truly beautiful glass of wine for the chardonnay lover.

Domaine de la Cadette, La Chatelaine, Vezelay
This Bourgogne Blanc is aged 7 to 10 months in stainless steel, preserving its vibrant freshness and crisp acidity. The palate is bright and mineral-driven, with layers of green apple, lemon, lime zest, and acacia, complemented by a delicate saline finish and a whisper of oak. Refreshing, pure, and beautifully balanced, this Chardonnay is perfect with shellfish, grilled fish, or creamy cheeses.
Domaine de la Cadette is a rare gem in Vézelay, a historic hilltop village in Burgundy, just southwest of Chablis and on the same latitude as Sancerre. Led by Valentin Montanet, this organic estate is dedicated to crafting authentic, terroir-driven wines that highlight the region’s limestone-rich soils. With a focus on purity and precision, the winery produces elegant, food-friendly wines that offer exceptional value.

Domaine Sautereau, Sancerre 2023, France
This is a masterclass in elegance and precision. The nose reveals layered aromas of candied citrus, white stone fruit, and subtle tropical notes of mango and pineapple. On the palate, the wine strikes a refined balance between the crisp vibrancy of its fruit and the textured depth imparted by lees ageing. A lingering saline minerality and a dynamic finish complete this beautifully structured wine, making it an ideal companion to fine seafood, goat cheese, or delicate vegetable dishes.
Sancerre stands as a benchmark for world-class Sauvignon Blanc, and David Sautereau’s work embodies the region’s storied legacy. Based in the village of Crézancy, seven kilometres from Sancerre town, David is the tenth generation in his family to craft wines here. His vines, aged between 13 and 50 years, are planted on the famed “terres blanches” soils—rich in limestone and marine fossils—infusing his wines with a distinctive minerality and complexity. Through a meticulous vinification process, including ageing in stainless steel and egg-shaped concrete vats, David captures the essence of Sancerre’s terroir while embracing modern winemaking techniques.

Louro do Bolo, Rafael Palacios 2022
Could this possibly be Spain's BEST white wine?.
Of all the Spanish white wines we have tried in the last 5 years, it is easily the best!
The grape here is Godello, and don't worry if you have never heard of it before, as it is one of Spain's best kept secrets. Grown in the Valdeorras region in Galicia, it is a rich and voluptuous glass of wine. Godello gives intense citrus flavours backed up with a creamy mouthfeel and hints of spiced pear. Golden in colour and golden in taste with flavours of butter and pineapple. The length in this wine goes on and on, and on... A stunning wine for anyone who loves Chablis or Chardonnay.
This is one of the best Godello's and Spanish whites you will ever try. In fact, the only better examples, are the more expensive ones made by the producer, Rafael Palacios. It would rival any Chablis 1er Cru and its half the price! Rafael Palacios comes from a wine dynasty, however in 2004 he left the family business and started working with old vines in the Valdeorras region. He is the king of Spanish white wines.

Pietro Junior Lugana 2023
Lugana is a place located on the southern tip of Lake Garda. It's a surprisingly unsuspecting place for wine to be made as the land is all flat, unlike the rolling hills of Piedmont and Tuscany.
The dominant grape here is an indigenous variety local to the region called Trebbiano di Lugana and it is most similar to the wines of Chablis or Macon, with its citrus driven profile and its potential to age well.
This particular one is produced in stainless steel and is all about capturing the flavour of the vineyards: think apples, lemons and peaches. It has a grippy texture and would be ideal with food. Its a serious wine and a great addition to a Sunday Roast.
